I had high hopes for asset avenue, I have been working on a flip so that I could have 1 under my belt to use then next time around, but during this process I inherited a rental property. Since it was paid off I wanted to use Asset's rental program. The process started great, a extended delay caused on my lawyers part did affect the process, once that was sorted out, the fun began! My first processor took days to respond if I was lucky, then after no response for a week I had to call Joe, with no response and then finally a email from Joe stating the processor quit. Then I was sent to Drew. Drew was very easy to work with and pushed to get things done, but there was the common issue of delayed responses. Once Drew did sort out all the paperwork and sent it to processing, I would say a week to 10 days went by. One night I received a email from another Asset employee telling me my loan was not able to continue processing and would be closed. After speaking to this person on the phone I was told it was a "internal" problem and had nothing to do with my file. I then followed up with emails to Drew and Joe, and to this day, (20 days later) I have yet to receive a phone call, email or anything with more information as to what happen. Or at least a phone call from Drew or Joe telling me what happened. I am grateful that Asset at least claimed to refund my money, I am still waiting on that check as well. I don't know what happened with this company recently but I am thinking twice before I do business with them.

Asset Avenue was very easy to work with. They asked for the information required and didn't keep asking for more, useless information like other loan companies have. Their interest rate is better than previous companies and their fees are low, too. Joe and Drew were awesome and helped me get the property closed on time.
